Nov 3, 2024: Sterling VAN Currently Unavailable
Commport has received notice that that the Sterling VAN is experiencing an outage with their connections. No ETA has been provided at this time.
SERVICES AFFECTED:
Our ‘CCI’ and ‘Commport’ VANs have intermittent connectivity to Sterling causing EDI Communications with partners on the Sterling VAN to be interrupted and delayed.
CUSTOMER IMPACT:
The Commport Network is not experiencing any issues in its processing. Due to the Sterling Network connectivity issues, EDI transactions with trading partners that reside on the Sterling VAN are currently being delayed for both inbound and outbound transmissions.
November 2 2024: PLANNED MAINTENANCE WINDOW – Network Updates
Commport continues to work diligently to harden our overall network and in support of these efforts is planning a maintenance window from 9:00 pm Saturday November 2 to 6:00am ET on Sunday November 3 2024 (Eastern Time).
SERVICES AFFECTED:
Communication and data processing services
CUSTOMER IMPACT
All FTP, AS2 and SFTP communications will be intermittently unavailable between 9:00pm- 3:00am ET. Data processing may be slower than normal during this time frame.
If you have time critical files that need to be processed during this window, please be advised that you may need to adjust your schedule to mitigate any disruption to your business.

Commport is currently experiencing delays in data processing on our CCI VAN platform. We are investigating the root cause and working to resolve the delays.

Commport performed a maintenance window from 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm EDT to update our new Internet EDI (v2) platform.
IN THIS DEPLOYMENT:
New fields and shipping label to support Costco Canada & Costco US Advanced Ship Notices (ASN’s)
SERVICES AFFECTED:
Data processing on new Internet EDI (v2).
CUSTOMER IMPACT:
Commport is performing a deployment to our Internet EDI (v2) product within our network which may impact data processing. All files sent during this window may experience a brief delay in processing.

Crowdstrike reported a global issue that impacted the Commport’s services. The Commport Team worked hard to restore affected services and at this point all Commport Services have been restored.
